  1. When I was in Toronto on Saturday afternoon, buses 8084 and 8094 made their way onto the Line 2 shuttles. It was nice to see them in service in the east end.
  2. What are the plans for units 01, 03-05 and 08? Will they be coming back at some point?
  3. So now that spring is here, what are the chances that 3750-3759 (BYD K9Ms) start returning to passenger service? I'm guessing the chances are slim?
  4. Also a first as this particular ARBOC cutaway is actually a Ford chassis instead of a GM. I believe that's the first Ford ARBOC bus ordered.

It appears to be using Coach Western, which means the copper coloured TEMSA will probably be one of the main buses on the route. I calculated that there's at least two buses on the road (one at each end leaving at the same time).
  6. The Ohio State University runs mostly CNG powered Gillig Low Floor buses. I believe they retired the last of their Phantoms in 2021.
  7. At this point, they should just start an actual fixed route service on the Island.
  8. I don't know. Something about Jerry Vale?
  9. I didn't think Creative Carriage built an extended length version of the CS-2. That might have changed but I'm convinced that it's a MoveMobility.
  10. Will that eliminate the high pitched whining noise coming from the turbo seal that's plaguing the majority of the 2017 diesel Novas? Or is that a deeper issue that has to be rectified?
  11. And that's not including the slowed down French announcements which is at twice the volume of the English ones. Don't forget that the French ones are slowed down because the voice programming doesn't understand French words.
  12. Andre Braugher, who played Detective Frank Pembleton on Homicide: Life on the Street and Captain Raymond Holt on Brooklyn Nine-Nie has passed away, aged 61. https://deadline.com/2023/12/andre-braugher-dead-homicide-life-on-the-street-brooklyn-nine-nine-actor-1235665513/
  13. Moving the remaining Whitby routes (excluding the 302) to peaks only (OnDemand off peak, really guys?) is definitely A choice they made. Also while we're at it, consolidating three of the Pickering routes into one route is not going to go over well, nor are the cuts to route 222 and 224 (becoming the 227). Also what is the point of cutting eastbound trips on route 502, which has struggling for ridership after it lost the other Bowmanville route. What's interesting is that route 605 is back, meaning that local buses return to Uxbridge. This is not a good set of changes (cuts) and will go over like a lead balloon for passengers. They're clearly following the York Region example of "less transit off peak is better". You see how well THAT turned out.
  14. Honestly, that makes a lot of sense, considering they took the artics off the 53 and half of them off the 953. I would have to think they're short of artics at McNicoll by now.
  15. For those that are wondering what Beep is using for the Swan Shuttle, it is a Navya Autonom Shuttle Evo. I'm not sure how many are used for the service but I could identify the vehicle used.
