Why is Kijiji infested with scammers? You put Local pickup cash only and you still get bombarded with idiots trying to scam you through PayPal and western union.

'cause there are still enough idiots out there who fall for it and make it worth the time and effort for the scammers to be there.

it's not just Kijiji, it's anyone's email address too now who you know, but are unaware someone is using their alias.

A even better question is why Kijiji is infected with so many people who post that they are looking for work, when it's supposed to be about employers looking (qualified) people and you applying.

When my uncle was in his 20's he had a size 28 waist. Wow. Even when I was 16 my waist was a size 32 so I can't imagine how skinny he must have been back then.

In my early 20's I had a size 17 " waist. I was a size 7. Then a couple years after my kid was born I managed to get back down to a size 9 and 21 " waist. Managed to maintain that for about 10 years, then after about age 38 I lost the battle to gravity. A sit down job, middle-age spread, hormone changes...I gave up battling. I just exercise and eat healthy and hope for the best.

I'm pretty sure my DSLR hates me for taking nearly 2000 photos in a 4 hour span today.

Yea our chest freezer is about 31 years old. Still works perfectly. Even then they built stuff to last.

The microwave my mom bought in 1995 still works perfectly fine. Meanwhile our refrigerator that was bought in 2009 is already falling apart.

the moffat appliances we had, were second hand (made sense at the time, at a cottage you dont need really fancy appliances, you just need things that work) so i have no idea how old they were when we got them, but they eventually needed replacement so we did with basic maytag models)

Reminds me of an old used Admiral Air conditioner that my dad got in the 70s. Although we had it repaired about 1987. That thing kept chugging up until 2002. Loud as thunder though.
