Just go to Flickr.com and type in All Points bus and you will see two pictures of it...the only thing All Points did was add their name to the front otherwise it hasnt changed a bit.!
Yes interesting. I found the images you were referring to. I see the legals also indicate All Points on teh side as well. I am still curious as to when they got that bus.

Ex-Brewster 148 in Bay 5 at Pacific Central Station on Saturday preparing to take her run to Powel River. Malispina Coach Lines has not put a unit number on this coach and I had to look VERY closely to find the evidence former Brewster unit number.

Malaspina seems to do well with those ex brewster units. They seem to be ideal for the Powell River service. Their shorter and less costly than a typical 48' coach on the Ferry.

A 48' coach could be quite interesting. I have enough fun with 45'.

haha..funny...:)'

I find Malaspina a very interesting company...they have one run with one schedule daily and have always tried to trim their costs without affecting their scheduled service. They only interline Freight with Greyhound and use their own paper waybills which work and Im sure are very cost effective for them. And they seem to be the Only Charter provider on the Sunshine Coast..!

Spotted a newer Sprinter "Eagle 10" decalled up for Malaspina Coach Lines in South Vancouver today. Possibly replacing the MC-5 on the scheduled run?

I saw the MC-5 still in service when I was in Vancouver on September 2.

I drove by their Sechelt yard two days ago and noticed the aforementioned Sprinter as well as two MC5's and the H341. I believe they still have a third MC5 as well. They seem to keep one parked at Pacific Central Station or the Coquitlam Depot..

Maybe they use the Sprinter for Charters for smaller groups.

Not necessarily. I saw it leave on their scheduled service from Powell River earlier that day. I think they switched to a larger bus somewhere down the line. I have seen it show up in Vancouver on the Sched service too. It may be just trying to cut down the ferry costs.

Saves on ferry costs and fuel costs. Maybe during the off-season they'll just use the Sprinter?

Yes that's totally possibe, maybe in the slower parts of the week/year they plan on using it? What about the Freight end...I cant see the Sprinter carrying that much freight or does it pull a trailer....lol. Thats a company that works to the market demand....why use a big bus when its not needed, switch to something smaller...smart business!

Sprinters are pretty decent little vans...Red arrow uses them in alberta for their new Red Arrow Connector service and they seem to work pretty good. Theirs have wifi, and the usually amenities of Red Arrow.

It seems that there are at least two sprinters in the fleet. I saw one at Pacific Central Station in Vancouver last night numbered Eagle 9. With recent posts that means we have Eagle 9 and Eagle 10 both Sprinters.

Spotted what I believe was Malaspina #148 or #149 in downtown Vancouver on Thursday evening. It was too far away to see the fleet number, but I think those two are the only ones in the solid blue livery between the windows and the silverside on each side. #'s 147 and 152 are the only ones I know of that are still in the former Brewster livery. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, could someone please correct the spelling of "Malaspina" in the title of this thread? It would be appreciated and thanks.

I can't say for certain about Eagle 10. I didn't get a good look at her. Eagle 9 appears to be a shorter length. If it takes 9 passengers then there is not much room for luggage. That wouldn't matter though. They have a trailer that is about the same size as the van for luggage.

Doesn't Malaspina have a 1/3/5 Ton truck for freight?
