This one has been talked about behind closed doors for a few weeks now but today I can finally confirm the triple-header charter for December 17-18. Here's the break down of 3 unique charters all mashed into 2 days.

Event #1

CANCELLED DUE TO UNDISCLOSED LEGALITIES

Event #2
This event is hosted by TRAMS, thus this event is totally out of my control. I'm simply advertising it out there for those interested.

Date: December 17th
Time: 1800/1830-2130
Start/Finish: Scott Road Station (Bus Loop)
Vehicle: P4107 a 1982 GM Fishbowl "Hillclimber" and S4276 a 1990 MCI Classic
Fare: $10/person
Itinerary: The annual TRAMS event where they take a handful of buses from their historic fleet, for a few hours touring around Vancouver area light displays. A snack stop is generally made at a local shopping centre. I'll post further information when I hear it.

Event #3

Date: December 18th
Time: 930-1530
Start/Finish: Scott Road Skytrain Station (Park & Ride side)
Vehicle: Grand Pacific Coach Lines 1969 GMC S6H4503A glasstop Fishbowl
Fare: $30/person
Itinerary: A 6 hour tour through the Metro Vancouver area onboard a very rare Glasstop New Look. Expect a few A short break will be arranged for food/drinks ect. Photo stops will be made through out the event, including some "historic" ones.

Will likely be attending all 3 plus the night add-on if it happens. Won't be able to confirm attendance until I know when/where I'm working this winter... but I'll do my best to make it out to all the events.

Sounds like a fantastic weekend... I'm IN!!!

I'll see if I can attend the extra event on the 15th, but for now, just say all three main events.

make that anything with a two stroke detroit powering it. Although i'm more partial to 6v92's but i dont know why.

The 92 series is a little smoother, and not quite as harsh sounding as the 71 series. They also have a slower throttle response due to increased piston mass.

I should be able to make at least one of these events, although 70 bucks in one weekend is a little much, so I'm not sure about all three. Depends on work and stuff.

Also, the 17th is my birthday, so I might be otherwise occupied in the evening/early morning :D

Im gonna try and make the events we'll see. Also i think its more turbo lag on the 92s since most 71s were non turbo

I don't think that would be much of an issue, given that these engines would be running at fairly low boost. The turbo would be there as much for emissions reasons as for power.

No surprise, you work retail :)

Updated some of the information for the events, more details coming over the next couple of weeks of course.

But everything is going ahead for sure, attendance might look "meh" here but I've got the word out outside of this forum :)
