No fleet number applied to it, so I can't tell you what unit it is.
And this is the only picture I've got. Bus is on a route 65 Astral at the Woodside Ferry Terminal (not taken by me)

Bill Wong's photo of the rear of the 2006 demo unit, notice that the taillights match those on the unit in Halifax (very small, set into the body):

Compare this with David Lam's photo of the rear of one of the production units, 9602. The headlights on this unit (and all the other production units) are the larger round extra-protruding type LEDs which have been used on pretty much all Vancouver low-floor buses:

Conclusive evidence, I'd say.

I assume though that despite being a demo, this bus' interior is built to Translink specs? Interesting how they decided to give it Vancouver's livery as well.
One other difference I noticed when looking at a few pictures just now of some Translink 2007 LFS' is that the demo one we've got has fog lights set into the front bumper, where as I can't seem to see any in the pictures of the production models. The fog lights do look very nice though.

Thanks for clearing it up!

IIRC, that demo Translink LFS livery isn't painted, rather, it's applied decals.

Right, I couldn't remember the exact words you told me about that.

Nope, I never took an inside picture. The driver did confirm that it was a Translink, BC LFS that was built for them but never delivered. Mont-Tremblant ended up buying the unit.

It wasn't a reject, it was actually more like a demo unit. It ran around here for a while, but never in service, and never had any fleet numbers. It was never assumed that the bus would go into permanent service here.
