Oops! Double-decker bus stuck under overhang

As a regular 595 rider (to TCC only!), I can tell you that there are certainly times when traffic is bad enough that if you were going from Seattle all the way to Purdy, it would be faster to take your car on the Bremerton ferry and then drive down to Purdy. (You could also use Southworth-Fauntleroy as well.)

It's in PT's long-term plan to run artics on Route 1, but there are a number of stops that would have to be relocated before that could take place. (I haven't seen the construction they are starting at the Parkland Transit Center and wonder if there's enough room to shoehorn a couple of 60-foot zones in there.) Part of their Base Master Plan is to expand facilities for the maintenance of 60-foot coaches as well.

A few of them ended up at Kitsap Transit for worker-driver service to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

I also see a few cutaway vans from Mason Transit for sale there as well.

Grays Harbor Transit also has a route into Olympia that stops at the Greyhound station there. I believe they always run low-floor Gilligs on that line. Additionally, Mason Transit comes into the Olympia Transit Center -- they are using Phantoms the last I've seen.
