  1. You guys forgot another factor in this calculation. Lines 5 and 6 should come online by Dec 2024 which according to Steve's article a few years back, should reduce (if memory serves) 75-100 buses. Then there's less streetcar replacement buses needed now VS a few years ago. They can just retire this amount without a replacement.
  2. The last 40ft HF transit bus in North America should be the 416.15 2nd gen which has the EPA2010 engine. Last units produced in 2013. It was still produced years after the Orion V and Phantom were discontinued. NFI should have the legal rights to remake that model since they bought NABI out.
  3. Ever rode a Gillig Low Floor / (AKA Advantage) or a VanHool New A330? lol
  4. That's the first weekend of 15min service for that long. Are you sure?
  5. 1) Can the Richmond Hill line theoretically run a SINGLE 7 days all day back and forth in service train between Union Stn and Langstaff GO Stn on a frequency of every 2h? The only part that I see with a conflict with CN is at John St north to Langstaff GO Stn which is part of the CN owned line. 2) Judging from google satellite pics, two other lines with similar conflicts exists that are similar to the above situation but are already seeing 7 days services at 30min or 1h frequencies. a) Lakeshore West line from Brant St west to Aldershot GO Stn where it conflicts with the CN owned line. b) Kitchener line from Hwy 407 west to Bramalea GO Stn where it conflicts with the CN owned line. How is GO able to run all day 7 days train in these two sections that conflict with CN?
  6. Someone (not me) uploaded a video of an orange BRT Orion for those who want to see it since no pics are floating around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXQpEqIwq9Q
  7. In early Feb when 9404 sneaked out on that single 29 in service run, did it have the old driver's side wheelchair seating configuration or the current one?
  8. They'll all arrive before the final LFS arrives. That's the sad part!
  9. The Fishbowl was louder than the 7900 VIIs?
  10. There's a lot more NG/3Gs left now than 310 buses.
  11. Scroll up a few posts. It was mentioned they only enforce this for routes that go on highways. Only TTC 927 and 900 go on the highway so technically only these 2 routes would have the 1/3 standee to seats limit.
  12. That VIVA bike rack colour looks nice on that YRT white front.
  13. That transfer also adds an extra 6min give or take for the longer walk from Kipling Miway to Kipling TTC. Are those Miway express buses that much faster than TTC? TTC also comes more frequently in general.
