Here is a broken down MCI bus from JCT. The bus was broken down on the 210 freeway in San Bernardino County, California.

Here is a VanHool from an unknown owner traveling southbound on Interstate 15 in northern San Diego County, California.

A MCI bus from Reyes Tours got stopped by California Highway Patrol on Interstate 15 in San Diego because it entered the 15 Express Lanes, which require a permit issued by Fastrak. Thats what I think happen. I saw the CHP chasing it through the express lanes. This photo didnt came out as I wanted it. The bus company is probably based in Mexico.

MCI D4505 traveling southbound on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County, California. Not sure who owns it, probably state prison or U.S. Homeland Security.

Yes you are right. It is one of JBC's coaches (http://www3.webng.co.../jbcbusline.htm). Are you sure JBC is still based in Brampton. The reason I am asking this is that I see their yard located near Silver Star Blvd and Steeles Avenue (right beside Market Village or Pacific Mall).

I know 2 apprentices that work there. The Garage is in Brampton. I am not sure of the intersection or address.

Nickelback has some real nice conversion coaches - one is a newer black H3-45 with lights along the roofline! Saw at least one other one but without the lights along the roof. Lots of LeMirages too.

The Bus operator for Taipan is AZ Bus Tours. JBC Coach Lines and AZ Bus Tours are competitors. JBC is the operator for DSL Tours which just like Taipan has services to Casino Rama. The New H3-45s were ordered since October 2011 and will have 58 seats just like to last orders of H3-45s. They will also have the Aware System. As for AZ Bus' Setra Coaches, if nobody buys them, they will be traded in for more H3-45s.

Is that to say that the Setra's are worse than the order H3-45's in terms of reliability? I would think that considering that the Setra's are much newer, they would keep them around...

On long weekends there are almost no coaches left in the garage except Setra's...i guess that tells you something. This one time a driver had to take everyone back to the depot to swap buses due to an ABS light and he ended up picking up another H3-45 even though there were Setra's in the garage. And the bus ended up stalling on the highway twice on the way to Casino Rama.

Yeah you are right. The H3-45s are more reliable and that's the reason why they ordered from Prevost. As for the stalling there are numerous reasons especially with the older units. There is one in particular where the Speed governed computer does not function and that's the fastest Coach. Most driver's who do the double runs would request that Coach. The downside to it is that is one of the oldest in their fleet! lol It's bound to be retired or sold!

When AZ Bus was bought over by the owner of Taipan Tours like early 2000s, they had 2 102EL3s and back then they were way to advance in electronic diagnostics. Also Prevost has the best Customer Service in the industry and I have also experienced it myself. Their parts are already stocked with Prevost Parts so they decided to stick with Prevost. Some parts are interchangeable with MCI coaches.

Found this bus near the Greyhound Lakeshore facility. The owner/operator is is based out of Niagara Falls, ON and they are only known as a numbered Corporation. Could be a start up bus company... It looks like an Ex-Go Transit MCI 102C3 Coach.
