A buddy and me flew down to LA just after the trial. Doing the usual sightseeing things one does in LA, driving around looking for notable landmarks such as the Playboy Mansion, Happy Days house, Nakatomi Plaza, etc. Anyway, we drove by the crime scene which was still boarded up, then we drove by OJ's house, stopped, started taking pictures and then he and his security dude started running out of the house towards us yelling. When we were driving down to go see Nakatomi Plaza, can't remember if we were driving down West Pico or West Olympic, regardless, we were at a red light - a car pulled up beside us and we glance in and we looked and thought "is that who we think it is?" She turned around and smiled at us, opened the window and said "hi" to us - it was Nichole's sister, Denise. Good times. And then of course, watching the Bronco chase live as it happened. Still amazed how prominent that chase was in pop culture at the time, joked, spoofs, t-shirts, etc. And of course, the trial was huge, with network TV stations airing it live every day. If he actually did it - don't know. Regradless ... Adios OJ ...

Suicide is a tragic thing - especially at such a young age - it also has a very negative effect on those left behind that can last a life time. You can only do so much to help though.

Buses were planned to use the counterflow lane with a pilot vehicle. The full closure was just announced today and is only planned for tonight with the other nights until the 8th, buses are to use the counterflow as originally planned - only missing the Steveston Hwy stops.

The bus did one complete trip to Scottsdale. Left 22nd late because it had to make its way to 22nd from its previous run. The regular bus went BO.

For me, it depends on the place and seasoning. I love Five Guys, both their burgers and fries are hard to beat - but I do love a simple McDouble and McDonalds fries as well. I love the seasoning salt at Red Robins - always add more on their fries. Can't stand Burger King anymore, their products have become absolute trash. As far as chicken goes, for fried chicken, I love Popeye's and a chicken sandwich in Canada, Mary Browns with their taters is awesome. Just wish we had Chic-Fil-A in Vancouver.
