How come the 41 and the 42 will be running all summer?
I thought that they were university buses and stopped
service from the end of April to the beggining of September?
And do you have an idea when the first NovaBus LFS Artic will arrive
here in Halifax? (And when they wil start service?)

I have heard the artics might be here in late June, they are wating for the Ragged lake garage to be done as they will be stored there. They will probably be in service at the earliest the end of August.

Annual ridership is about 25 million: that's a 40 percent jump in six years.
For those interested, Metro Transit's annual service plan was just published, outlining in detail the plans for upcoming schedule changes. Included are up-to-date individual route statistics, including ridership and cost-recovery ratios (starting on page 32). There are also renderings and plans for the new Highfield and Bridge terminals. Quite an interesting read!

Even as a driver I was suprised that 52 ridership was around the same number as the 10. Also thought the 80 had a higher ridership then that.

I guess after all the hard work to expand more service outside Halifax. Aren't there development building new suburbs?
As of April 2009, I have finally rode Nova Classic T-drive, two types of different engine! Which ones is better? Series 50 all the way man!

As for the MetroX buses...I would certainly hate to get one of those on a route like the 1 or 33. Almost as bad as the morning I rode an inbound 68 to Halifax on a D30LF.
