Funny, it starts in the middle of the weekdays.

It's funny actually, I can't stand the Chickenburgers at Chickenburger - it was a nasty surprise when I first ordered one! I'm quite partial to their cheeseburgers, though - they have a good "diner" taste to them. But truth be told, it's the milkshakes that keep me coming back.
In short, the answer to your question is yes.

Well, the kafuffle about large luggage being banned has been (mostly) resolved, and during afternoon rush hour today, the 4:45 run to the airport was packed. At the Bridge Terminal, I saw three people get on with suitcases. I've never seen less than four people on any run during the daytime, including weekends, so that's promising. They're already talking about having to expand the Fall River Park & Ride...it's running low on spaces every day after only one week!

I presume Fall River doesn't have its own feeder service? A feeder service that loops around part of the town might solve the park-and-ride issue (or provide a band-aid solution until otherwise).
I attempted to look for the Fall River Park n' Ride on Google Maps, either it isn't updated, or my head hurts just trying to find it!!!

Before last week, Fall River had no bus service whatsoever. As nice as it would be, it's probably too spread out and removed from the urban core to make a local transit route feasible.
The Park & Ride just opened last week, so Google Maps doesn't have it yet. It's right here:
http://maps.google.c...&num=1&t=h&z=18
...not the gravel lot, but the grassy lot next to it. There's space for 90 cars.
Also, Wilson Hum has some great photos of the new buses on his Flickr photostream, if you haven't checked them out already.

Falls River is pretty much the definition of suburbia! Havent seen such a spread out community ever
Ah okay, I was using the MetroX map on the 320 page, and I couldn't recongnize any of the streets! And I havent seen any Flickr accounts out East. I'm usually in the Manitoba/Edmonton sections!

Fall River, in my mind, is an excellent example of suburban planning failures of the past. As you say, it's very spread out.

I've got my route to the backpackers inn planned, now to spend the next 2 weeks learning the bus schedules..
there is an iPhone app for Halifax Metro, but I'm concerned if its accurate or not..
After the 28th, I'll be in a homeless shelter most likely, so I'll have lots of time to roam around, I'm also coming out there with a TTC hat on my head, as my best friend, gave me his, he never wears it, but he wants me to wear it out there....
I also am bringing my camping gear, in case theres a place to camp for a few weeks..
I just want to also thank everyone who has contacted me, about my routes & figuring out how to get from the Via station to the Inn.

As for Fall River being suburbia? I wouldn't even call it that. It's rural as far as I'm concerned.
I've noticed lately the out of service destination signs on the artic LFS' have been altered. In addition to out of service, they also list the HRM call centre phone number, as well as Metro Transit's website and Twitter name, or whatever the @ is, I'm not a Twitter person... Kinda nice to see they finally hired somebody who actually knows how to program a destination sign.
Since I'm on the subject, the inboud route 62 now says Bridge Terminal via Manor Park. Messy, uninformative and non-helpful destination signs have always been a pet peeve of mine.

They have all the route schedules posted in one booket.

None of the Halifax Metro apps are official (made by them) so accuracy is a definite concern. Metro Transit does have their schedules on Google but like most systems there, some stops are in the wrong place or both directions are shown in one place.

A Metro Transit bus caught on fire early Friday morning.
The incident happened at the Penhorn Mall bus terminal on Portland Street in Dartmouth, N.S around 6:30 a.m.
Fire broke out in the dash area of the bus. It didn't take firefighters long to put the flames out, but damage to the bus is extensive.
There are reports that a faulty defrost system may have been to blame. An investigation is underway.
