Nice! You're pretty close to the Ragged Lake TC there, too.

Cool! At first I thought Chocolate Lake was located waaaaay out of the city, but it looks very close & conveniently located to everything.

I have stayed at that hotel and it is very nice. Hopefully, you get a room with a view of Chocolate Lake. Be sure to say hi to Cocoa, a chocolate lab that is the mascot of the hotel and a very friendly dog.

That's awesome! I'm looking forward to staying at this property. I did a search on Flickr and seen some photos of Cocoa. :)

According to a reliable source, apparently the 9 NovaBus LFS suburban buses have been delivered for the MetroX service to the Airport. It is supposed to start in May (although a date has not been announced on the website) but we should be able to see and photograph the buses during the CTHF charter. They will at least look a little different in the MetroX paint scheme.

The planned start date for the Airport MetroX service is May 21st, so the timing may work out perfectly for those who are flying in.

Excellent, that means the Airporter will be out! But, my question is, will it run the schedule similar to the Airporter? I can't see running an hourly service.
More and more transit system are sticking to LF because of economical issues! Where as HF, it will be a rare to see in much future times!

As of April 2009, I have finally rode Nova Classic T-drive, two types of different engine! Which ones is better? Series 50 all the way man!

2011 Charter: Able to manage to attend as there are some good ones to go for!

Actually, it's going to run every half-hour during peak periods, and every hour off-peak. The fare will be $3.25 one way. I'll be curious to see how many people actually use it.

Also, for those who are curious, page 12 of this PDF has a rendering of an LFS in the MetroX livery. Sharp! Frameless windows, and the LFX front roof scoop.

Lets see if they can run the service very late night, otherwise I'll wait for the first day of bus service the next morning!

I've just paid for the charter. It's a bit more than I usually pay to ride a Classic Artic for my morning commute, but what the hey... ;)

Looking forward to it!

Good to hear! I've never been on one of these charters before.

Also, bad news. The start of the Airport MetroX service has been pushed back to May 31st, so that's a no go.

Take plenty of pictures cause you will never see this type of charter again!

Ah s*it! It will be my last time riding the contracted cutaway anyway, but I will have to make an arrangement when going back.

So found out today that only 5 of the classics are comming off the road in november ( at least that is the plan now). As far as I was told 706 and 702 wil be around for a while longer. 702 has a rebuilt engine and 706 was a complete rebuild. Got to drive 713 today and it worked like a top for most of the day till the battery died and the bus started to die along with it lol.
For those of you that want to see what the new airport bus will look like in the metro x paint scheme I will try to take some pictures when they arrive. They should be at the Ragged lake transit garage any day now,

I'd love to go, but I'll be in Montreal that weekend. I've promised my wife I'd take her there for the past two years for her birthday..Well, the Bruins were in the playoffs the last two years, so this year we got the chance to go. I know it will be a great trip. Congrats to all that attend!
The junk I used to drive!
