1st/2nd is TTS. 8th is Labour Day weekend, 15th is Windsor.

Think about it. September is gonna be a packed month for charters.
Labour Day is September 3rd this year, so Labour Day weekend is September 1st-3rd.

Actually, retirement is very close. With 41 XD40 buses expected to enter service in September, all 96, 98, 9900 series will be parked at the start of the Summer board period (last weekday Friday, June 22nd). There is a very good chance that none will return come September. HSR may hang onto a couple of the 98s just in case, but all 99s are scheduled to be retired.

Considering this, with all due respect, I would like to hijack this thread. I am considering an HSR 9600/9900 charter for Saturday, June 23rd. If no 9600s are available, then I would substitute a 98.

This will be a private charter run by myself (no TTS or CTHF affilation). Because it would be private, all proceeds from the charter would be donated to the Seashore Trolley Museum for the ongoing maintenance of ex-HSR 518203.

More details will be posted at a later date.
I'd be interested in this charter as well, but I'd have to wait until a closer date to confirm as well.

Since Woodstock is sold out due to my lazyness, I can try to attend this one. Am interested cause I never rode HSR buses and it's going towards a good cause!

Seeing as I fell asleep at the switch for all the other Orion 6 events, this will likely be my last chance.

Problem?

I am very interested. I've never been part of a charter but would love to, especially with my local HSR buses. Though I'm not sad to see the 96,98 and 99 buses being retired I would enjoy taking 'one last ride' on one of them before they are retired. :)
