Somewhere in Canada since it shows BMO and Dollarama. I thought it was Vancouver orginally but until I noticed the two spoke steering wheel which Translink uses 3. -------------------- More and more transit system are sticking to LF because of economical issues! Where as HF, it will be a rare to see in much future times!
As of April 2009, I have finally rode Nova Classic T-drive, two types of different engine! Which ones is better? Series 50 all the way man! 2009 charter: So far attending the YUL entire Spring charter, and Niagara Classic charter! Looks like Yonge Street and Wellington in Aurora. Seems as though the driver was heading westbound on Wellington and turning northbound on Yonge street. Was that a GO bus? If it was Didn't know they had cameras

Video isn't working, but I can definitely say, by the description, that it is the Wellington/Yonge intersection in Aurora. There's a vacant shopping centre there (used to be a Price Chopper a few months ago), a very nice Canadian mural on the building at the southeast side, and many other stores.

Must be a GO bus, if you watch the video when the driver picks up the phone for the second time you can see his shirt is white and AFAIK only GO drivers wear white shirts.

You might be right, this might be an Orion V. That would be a Union Station-Newmarket/East Gwillimbury bus. Just east of that intersection is Aurora GO Station, so yeah...if there were passengers on board, I'm sure there would be MANY unhappy people. This intersection always seems to have problems since it's in a tight area, and on Yonge Street immediately south, people are ALWAYS parking on the side of the road, causing a bottleneck. Then again, there's also people who just don't realise that, at a green light, a person doing a right hand turn has the right of way to a left hand turner.
As a note, this is definitely a GO bus judging by the phone and the shirt sleeve. -------------------- |
