So Peter and I are visiting Saskatoon, have any of these D60LF or Nova LFS from OC Transpo been activated in revenue service? Also have any Fishbowls been removed from service in the past month or so?

501 and 504 nova running lots. The newer nova and artics still going through inspections and setup I think. Nothing decomisioned for a while now. Bowls seeing abnormal amount of use this last week.

It was nice to see a couple of ex-St. Albert and ex-Edmonton Transit Fishbowls still in service as well. The following Fishbowls were active as of April 13, 2012 when I was there: 371, 377, 382, 384, 398, 400, 401, 402, 821, 824, 983, 992.

There may be a couple more that were still active, but they either didn't come out that day or I didn't see them. I could see at least one more inside the garage at the end of the day, but I could not see the fleet number on it.

503 was also active when I was there on April 13th. I have attached a photo. I also saw 501 and 504. No sign of 502 from what I recall. I will probably be corrected on a few of my notes soon.. :P

Green. They are obvious because of the numbering and the type of fleets they have!
More and more transit system are sticking to LF because of economical issues! Where as HF, it will be a rare to see in much future times!

As of April 2009, I have finally rode Nova Classic T-drive, two types of different engine! Which ones is better? Series 50 all the way man!

2011 Charter: Able to manage to attend as there are some good ones to go for!

Saskatoon never had any of their own D60LF's. The Nova articulated's were the first articulated buses in the Saskatoon fleet. The Nova's were also the first Nova's delivered to Saskatoon Transit. I believe the former Montreal units arrived shortly after the articulated Nova's.

Also, would anyone happen to know if GM Classic #405 is still active? It was the only remaining GM Classic besides #407 when I was there in June of 2011 for the BHA conventions. But when I was in Saskatoon a couple of weeks ago, I did not see 405 at all and found #407 parked out back in the fenced compound. I am not sure if 407 is retired now or not, but it was only about two years ago that it went through refurbishing.

Also, does anyone know the status of MCI Classic #434? Found it in the fence compound two weeks ago with a front right headlight missing. Here are a ocuple more images from two weeks ago:

While looking up Saskatoon Transit, found an interesting page:

http://www.saskatoon...es/SafeBus.aspx

1) Has any examples of people using this been publically made or since this is CPTDB, seen? and
2) Are there any examples of this in Western Canada? I saw in Winnipeg a few years ago, a driver on our Route 24 stopped to wake up a passed-out person laying on the bus stop pavement. Also of a driver letting this gangster kid on the bus, when some other kids were threatening to beat his ass.

I'm also interested by this... DART service. Thought it meant Dial-A-Ride Transit til I kept reading further :P
In a fleet ranging from 1990 D40s, to 1994 D40LFs, to 1996 D30LFs, to 2002 D40is, to 2012 D40LFRs with electric buses and artics coming! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

401 has been decomissioned as well 403 was decomissioned a while ago. The GMC are on their way out as they fail insurance inspections. I am probably the only person here happy about that.

just wondering who can provide an updated list of all the ex-Regina Classics in Saskatoon Transit right now? My last visit to Saskatoon was back in 2011 which a few Regina Classics were still sitting at the back of the garage at that time, and I wondered if ALL of those were back to service or not. Thank you

You can still see part of the old ETS logo on that New Look if you look well :)

Actually 449-454 were the first Novabuses delivered to Saskatoon Transit way back in 1995. They were also the last ones delivered with the 6V92TA engines since all the later ones were Classic TDS models.
