How? Metro Transit has over 150 New Flyer D40LF's currently in it's fleet so parts standardization isn't going to really be an issue, apart from the hybrid system.

Oh, I'd say, Oddballs of the fleet definitly.

Ratio 2:45 is quite a difference. You won't see the DE60LFRs too often

not too long I dont think 2 have been scrapped as of now 708 and 710

It was also reported that 701 and 711 are gone too, witch brings the total to 4 classic artics retired.

I still strongly believe the remainder have a few good years left to them. I was expecting a couple to be retired for parts.
But who knows.

There are 6 on the road right now the rest are off either waiting to be repaired or retired.

No kidding I didn't see one in Halifax on the day I was there for one day.
