So, after walking down my road and having a Ford F-150 blow past me in reverse, I decided I'd make this thread so you could put your strange sightings of your day/past here.

Can think of one today: :D

-Over crowed HSR D40LF on 25 Up. Went, and there was a stroller in the way, and a REALLY large lady got stuck between the pole and the stroller trying to move back, I bursted out laughing unexpectedly and turned my head the other way, towards my friend in embarrassment.

LRT will make Hamilton's economy GROW, and the downtown SOAR.

Here's a good one.

When I rode in my mom's car, we went up Highway 12 just north of the Trent-Severn Waterway and saw a GO train running down the curve @ mile 69.8 (km 112.33 for the metric folk) of the CN Bala Sub.

This isn't a sighting, but it is a WTF moment. Yesterday, I got a call on my cell phone for someone looking for a Hazel. Okay, a wrong number isn't too much out of the ordinary until you realize that this is the third time someone called my cell phone looking for Hazel. One of the two previous times was a telemarketer. And to top it off, I think some missed calls were also for Hazel.

I have no idea who this Hazel is, and if it happens again, I'll try to find her last name and then call her myself to let her know that she has given people my cell phone number by mistake.

Though if she's a bitch about it, I'll have some fun... :D

I had that problem once. It's because they reuse the number if somebody cancels their plan. You prolly got her old cell number and she hasn't told people to stop calling her at that number.

Arrived at Cremazie Stn. Train stops. People expect doors to open. Instead we depart for Sauve Stn. Commuters aboard were puzzled like me but people at the platform were visibly irritated.

Yeah, though I have had the phone for about a year before the first call for Hazel came. If it was shortly after I got the phone, then I could understand.

Somehow, I don't think no one has had a reason to not call Hazel for a year.

One teacher I'm glad I don't have:

The rules for the computer labs at my school are basically that they are open at all times, but if a class needs to use it, then it is up to the teacher to decide whether or not you may use a computer, if they say you can, then you do whatever you have to do so long as you don't disturb the class.

Anyway, today, my class was in a lab, but our class is too big, so myself and a friend of mine went into the next lab which was empty at the time. A few minutes go by and a class comes in. No problem, except the idiots in front of us are doing stupid shit like playing Bumper Chairs as if it were the first time they'd sat in a chair with wheels, or talking loudly about random crap.

This seems to be ok with the teacher. However, the minute I whisper something to my friend:

Him: "Ugh, can you see why isn't this working?"
Me: "Ummm, oh, see, this error means---"
Bitch: "ZIP IT OR GET OUT!"

Yes, lady, I'm sure my whispering that I can hear my keystrokes over is disturbing your class much more than the morons in front. :D

maybe she has a different area code and gave out the wrong area code and you both have the same last 7 digits?

Guy on a motorcycle went by my house earlier, and his pants were down far enough to expose at least a third of his ass. And believe you-me, it was a BIG ass.

You'd think he would notice..

I saw someone driving down the wrong side of a median-separated street once, on the verge of coming into a major intersection. I happened to be making a left turn at the intersection, going straight into the other car's path, and almost collided with the other car (who'd expect a car to be going that way, anyway?)

Upon noticing that, the driver of the other car backed up a significant distance into a driveway, turned around, and went the proper direction down the street.

Remember when the SB 404 had the express/collector split just south of Sheppard on the first day? Yeah...EVERYONE was going reverse because they missed the 401 exit...

Well I was sitting in Gore Park on the phone with my girlfriend today about an hour ago (8:30pm), after a long bike ride, when I hear to guys screaming at random people. I turn around and theres two drunk dudes staggering across the road, and yelling. They come into Gore Park to sit down, and the one guy misses the bench. He falls backwards, cracks his back off the side handles of the bench, then he slips off onto the ground and hits his head on the ground. I was like "OMG" to my GF and I told her what happened and she just laughed and said.. "dumb people". But anyways his friend (the other drunk) leans over with his only one arm (other was amputated) to pick him up then helps him to the bench, and no word of a lie gives him a hug! :) That was my MAJOR WTF moment of the day. Here is a good WTF

about a week or so ago I was with my dad in his car going north on Simcoe in the one-way area and we were coming down just past Gibb and I saw in the distance a white van I'm like what the hell is that person doing then I see it coming toward us at high speed and my dad was freaking out so we got in the lane furthest away from him and he just zoomed by atleast going 80 maybe 90 and when and I look back and he pulled into Village Union P.S. so I don't know what he was doing but it was pretty scary but it happens quite a bit most peole who are going down the wrong way are not from Ontario or Elderly people.
