That is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
That smog is common in China. Attribute part of it to the massive amount of economical/industrial growth that has occured in the last two decades. Its much more then diesel exhaust. -------------------- |

Yeah it's rare to get a kind of blue sky that Edmonton has even in Ottawa!!! QUOTE(kevlo86 @ Nov 7 2006, 12:41 AM) Its much more then diesel exhaust. Yeah I can think of atlest 5 other things that could be in that air. (Gasoline exhaust, coal burning exhaust, tobaco exhaust, etc...) -------------------- My Paperbus Shop (Closed for good)

Regardless of the Euro 3 emmision standards, there are still many sources of air pollution such as that produced by industry. Euro 3 emmision standards or any emmision standard isin't going to do much good if there are millions upon millions of vehicles on the road either. Besides enforcing emmision standards would be unrealistic in China given the massive number of vehicles on the road.
Euro 3 is also an outdated emmision standard dating back to 1999. Going to go completely off topic here, ignore it if you would like. If replies start coming, we can split this thread up. But here is the first hit I got when I googled "China and pollution problems". http://www.economist.com/business/displayS...tory_id=3104453 -------------------- |
