Windship Aviation flies hot air balloons here in Edmonton.

They seem to have three balloons now - they have the RE/MAX one, the rainbow colored one, and today I saw a blue one with 2 white stripes flying as well.

Whose up for a hot air balloon ride?

There used to be a few different companies and tons of balloons floating around. Some evenings the whole sky would be dotted, and there were wild 'shapes' of balloons too, like milk bottles, houses, RCMP dude on a horse just to name a few.

Actually, I'd really like to ride a dirigible. Now THAT would be a lotta fun.

Saw the three balloons today, but in different locations. Usually they are somewhat together.

I believe we used to have balloon races in Edmonton... or something like that. I remember going a couple of times when I was younger. Lots and lots of big bright balloons.

The Captain is certainly right. There used to be lots. Now, not so many.
