Can't recall whether this was discussed here before, but a new transit system began operation in July in the Belleville Area.
This service links Madoc, Marmora, Springbrook, Stirling, Belleville and Ivanhoe. The bus leaves Madoc in the morning at 7: 05 a.m., then goes to Belleville via Marmora, Springbrook and Stirling. Arrives at the Belleville Bus Terminal at 8:40 a.m., then proceeds to the Ivanhoe municipal offices arriving there at 9:20 a.m. There are also 2 return trips in afternoon rush. First p.m. trip is express from Madoc to Belleville leaving Madoc at 2 p.m. and arriving at Belleville at 2:55 p.m. and promptly leaving back to Madoc via the reverse a.m. routing. Arriving back at Madoc at 4:30 p.m. The second p.m. trip starts at Madoc at 4:30 p.m. leaves Belleville at 5:30 p.m. and arrives back at Madoc at 7:15 p.m. Buses run Monday-Friday. You can see the service flyer here. My parents brought me a slightly older flyer for the service which advertises phase 2 of the service which would provide service to the municipality of Tweed. -------------------- |

-------------------- More and more transit system are sticking to LF because of economical issues! Where as HF, it will be a rare to see in much future times!
As of April 2009, I have finally rode Nova Classic T-drive, two types of different engine! Which ones is better? Series 50 all the way man! 2009 charter: So far attending the YUL entire Spring charter, and Niagara Classic charter! Cutaway....okay, Dodge Caravan....oh my! Haha, true! Anyone think they should get a Dodge Sprinter at least? -------------------- "If you want to get around comfortably and reliably, buy a car and put your miserable public transit days behind you."
