Very interesting photo! I find it odd that another unit is behind the cars. I didn't hear anything of why that was done. Do you know?
Its called a J train and was basically two trains run together to a certain point and then they would split, with one half going one place and the other train somewhere else.

XD40 1360 is now in service. It is identical to the 2012 order. I haven't seen the second one yet.
My father sent me a photo of 1359 in service, so it is about too.

Majority of the year you can see out the rear window. Sometimes when its raining you can't see out the side windows, or when it gets too foggy. Good thing TTC didn't use that as an excuse to get rid of side windows.

I will miss the rear window, I thought the Artics would have been the one with a rear window, I guess not. Oh well
Those rear windows are useless in winter months, they get covered in snow or road dirt thrown up by the bus as it heads down the road. Even in summer months dust covers up the rear window. I used to clean the rear window so that the route number would be visible, but it was a loosing battle. They are useless to the driver, can't really see much out the rear even when the bus is empty. As for the passengers they just use the space to throw bags and coats onto, they don't sit there staring out the rear window.

6458 and 6405 spotted at the Winnipeg shop ... must have been from the Togo, SK incident?
Well in the post above you I mention 6405 as being one of the engines. The other engine was listed by CRO as 6448, but maybe they made a mistake.
