This route mainly provides service on The Queensway between The West Mall and Ellis Avenue, and on Parkside Drive between Bloor Street West and Lake Shore Boulevard West. The western terminal is Sherway Gardens and the eastern terminal is Keele Station for its one branch, 80.

History
- November 23, 2008 - Service between Keele Station and Sherway is extended until 1:00am every day. Short turn branch 80B (Sherway -Humber Loop) is eliminated.
- May 8, 2011 - Due to system-wide service cuts, service is removed east of Humber Loop after 10pm on weekdays and all day on Sundays and holidays. Branch 80B (Sherway - Humber Loop) is reintroduced and operates during this period. Additionally, all service is removed after 10pm on weekends and holidays.
- June 22, 2014 - Due to a system-wide reorganization of route branch designations, branch 80 to Keele Station has been changed to 80A.
- September 6, 2015 - Service only after 10pm on weekends is restored. Branch 80B solely operates during this period.
- January 8, 2017 - Due to bus replacement on the 501 Queen route, service east of Humber Loop after 10pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and all day on Sundays and holidays is temporarily restored.
- September 4, 2018 - Service east of Humber Loop is fully restored with all service operating between Sherway Gardens and Keele Station whenever the subway is open. Branch 80B is eliminated and branch 80A to Keele Station is redesignated to 80.
Overnight Service
Overnight service is not provided, however, the route operates until 1:00 AM every day.
