The Alexander Dennis ALX400 is a 2-axle double-decker bus body originally built by Walter Alexander Coachbuilders starting in 1997 to replace the R Series bodies. Production was continued by TransBus International in 2001 and carried ino 2006 with Alexander Dennis.
The ALX400 could be fitted onto the Dennis / TransBus International / Alexander Dennis Trident, Volvo B7TL, and DAF/VDL DB250 chassis.
In 2006 the ALX400 was replaced by the Alexander Dennis Enviro400.
