The Alexander Dennis Enviro500H is a low floor diesel-electric hybrid double deck bus. It is the first double deck hybrid bus in North America and made it's debut at the 2008 APTA Expo. The batteries for energy storage are located behind the last row of seats in the lower deck, thus capacity of this 12.8 metre Enviro500 is similar to that of a 12 metre Enviro500.
The first bus produced has been built for Victoria Regional Transit System (BC Transit).
