The New Flyer Industries XDE40 is a diesel-electric transit bus from New Flyer's Xcelsior line. The XDE40 was the first model of the Xcelsior, with it's debut at the 2008 APTA Expo. The first customer of the XDE40 is Brampton Transit for their Züm service.
