The Orion Bus Industries Orion V was a high floor transit bus available in different lengths and the widths. One of the longest runing line of buses from Orion, production began in 1989 and ended in late 2008. The final order of the Orion V was by Sonoma County Transit for CNG-powered buses.

The Orion V was one of the earliest models of buses in North America to use compressed natural gas CNG as a fuel. Multiple transit agencies in North America have specified this option. The Orion V is also available in a suburban/commuter configuration with a single door, reclining seats, and parcel racks.
