Rapid Penang

Rapid Penang, an abbreviation for Rapid Penang Sendirian Berhad is the a government-owned company set up to operate transit bus services in Penang state in Malaysia, it was established by the the government of Penang State in 9 February 2007 and commenced operations on 31st July 2007, this is the second public transport operating company set up by the Malaysian government after Rapid KL from Kuala Lumpur in 2004.
Rapid Penang currently operating 350 buses and 44 routes in Palau Pinang (Penang Island) and Seberang Prai (Province Wellesley) areas.
