SBS Transit

SBS Transit (Previous name: Singapore Bus Service [SBS]) was founded in 1973 with the merger of three private bus companies (Amalgamated Bus Company Limited, the Associated Bus Services (Private) Limited and the United Bus Limited), SBS was listed on the Stock Exchange of Singapore in 1978 under the name of Singapore Bus Service (1978) Limited.

Singapore Bus Service was renamed as SBS Transit in November, 2001 when the company become the multi-modal transport operator (Bus operation, Taxi, North-East MRT Line, Sengkang and Punggol LRT systems).
