Route Details
This route services Christie Street to St. Clair Avenue West. It also serves from St.Clair Avenue West to St.Clair West Station. The northern terminal is St.Clair West Station, and the southern terminal is Christie Station for its one branch, 126. This route is fully low-floor accessible. This route is one of the shortest routes in the TTC route system.
History
- Summer 2007 - Route was interlined with 33 Forest Hill, and serves a street level stop for its northern terminal at St.Clair West Station. This branch only operates during weekdays up to 7pm. Along with that, a temporary branch was created, 126B (see below).
- November 23, 2008 - Moved to the newly opened Mount Dennis Division.
Branch 126B
- 126B Christie Station - Bathurst Station via Vaughan and Bathurst. During summer 2007, St. Clair West Station's bus terminal was closed for streetcar track reconstruction, and 126 was interlined with 33 Forest Hill. During times when 33 did not regularly operate, 126 was routed down Vaughan and Bathurst to Bathurst Station. This new branch was labeled 126B.
