Route Details
This route runs through South Leaside. It services a number of local streets and roads including St.Clair Avenue East, Welland Avenue, Moore Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Sutherland Drive, Millwood Road, McRae Drive, Laird Drive, Vanderhoof Avenue, Leslie Street, Wicksteed Avenue, Beth Nealson Drive, Thorncliffe Park Drive, and Overlea Boulevard. The western terminal is St. Clair Station, and the eastern terminals is Thorncliffe Park Drive for all branches. Branch 88 operates in a clockwise loop, while 88A operates in the counter-clockwise direction.

- 88B St. Clair Station - Thorncliffe via Laird. It operated via Overlea and Laird to loop at Thorncliffe Park. It operated during early evenings, and was replaced by extended service on the 88/88A branches on November 23, 2008.
88C Branch
- 88C St. Clair Station - Laird. 88C looped clockwise via Millwood Road, McRae Drive and Laird Drive. It operated during weekday late evenings, Saturday evenings and all day Sunday. It was replaced by extended service hours on the 88/88A branches on November 23, 2008.
