History
In July 2016, Aer Lingus placed an order for an additional 2 A330-300 aircraft to be received in 2020.[1] This order was increased to 4, with the remaining aircraft to be received in 2022 The arrival of this series of aircraft would prompt the switch from the A330-200 series to A330-300.[2]
