Exo 1350-1369
Exo 1350-1369 are 2011-12 Bombardier ALP-45DP dual-mode locomotives.
The ALP-45DP locomotives were ordered in August 2008 by exo predecessor, Agence métropolitaine de transport, following a request for proposals issued jointly with New Jersey Transit. AMT has an option for a further 10 locomotives.[1] The locomotives will be used to replace the GP9u and all leased locomotives, and to expand service.
The ALP-45DP is built in Kassel, Germany and shipped to North America. The first locomotive, 1350, was delivered to AMT on June 9, 2011. It underwent testing and was anticipated to enter service in 2012. More ALP-45DP locomotives began being delivered in October. At least one locomotive has entered service in early December 2011.
As of February 2019, none have been repainted for the new identity, exo.
