The Alexander Dennis Enviro350H is a heavy-duty (19 tonne), single deck, diesel-electric hybrid transit bus built for the European market. It was available in one to three door configurations. The bus was available with Alexander Dennis's own body in addition to Tata-Hispano and Custom Coaches bodywork. Tata-Hispano had exclusive rights to market Enviro350H in Spain and Portugal.

Alexander Dennis announced their intention in July 2010 to build a hybrid single deck bus for the European market. The bus was advertised as a left-hand-drive, three-door, 12 metre, fully low floor, heavy duty (18 tonne) transit bus. It was developed in co-operation with Tata-Hispano, who became the first to body the Enviro350H. The bus was unveiled at the 2010 FIAA trade show in Madrid, Spain held in November 2010.

In a step towards fully electric powered buses, Alexander Dennis introduced a "virtual electric" option in 2014. The bus used the same BAE Systems hybrid drivetrain, but could be run in full electric mode when necessary. It had a larger battery capacity and could be charged through induction using two 30kW coils located under the centre of the bus.
