Autobus A. Drolet

History

• Established in 1932 by Cyrille, Joseph-Émile and Henri Drolet but the family (Napoléon; later his son Alphonse) had been operating bus service since 1916.
• Bought Autobus Marc-Aurèle Michaud in June 1945.
• La Malbaie transit operations sold to Autobus Edouard Marchand in November 1952.
• Started Autobus Scolaires Drolet Ltée in 1967.
• Transit operations and most line runs (except Québec City-Baie-Comeau) were sold to Autobus Fournier in January 1969.
• On February 1, 1976 Autobus A. Drolet was sold to Voyageur. Autobus Scolaires Drolet Ltée and l'Agence de Voyage Drolet Ltée remain with the Drolet family.
