Baltimore Transit Company

The Baltimore Transit Company is a former public transit provider for the city of Baltimore, Maryland, between 1935 and 1970.

Services immediately prior to 1935 were provided by the United Railways and Electric Company (between 1899 and 1935).

History

• Partially controlled by National City Lines from 1944 to 1970.
• Acquired by the Metropolitan Transit Authority in 1970.
