Bloor GO Station is a GO Transit train station located in Toronto, ON. It is located on the north side of Bloor St. east of Dundas St.
The two station platforms extend north from Bloor St. and are on the outside of the eastern pair of tracks, with no service to the western pair. Both platforms connect at the south end to the north sidewalk on Bloor. A Ticket Vending Machine is available on the east side platform, which also contains the now-disused station building.
History
Bloor serves primarily as a link to the subway system through Dundas West Station, a short walk to the west. There have been plans for many years to build a second exit from the east end of Dundas West's subway platforms to the GO Station, but construction of nearby The Crossways apartment building has complicated plans. For now, due to the poor access to the subway and being served only by rush hour trains, Bloor has very low ridership. The station building was closed in 2008, with ticket sales being replaced by a Ticket Vending Machine.
The Air-Rail Link to Pearson Airport will stop at Bloor, and is expected to dramatically increase ridership through the station once it opens in 2015.
Connecting routes
TTC route 168 passes directly outside the station but does not stop. Connections to TTC services are available at nearby Dundas West Station.
