Brampton Transit 0622-0638
Brampton Transit 0622-0638 are Nova Bus LFS buses built in 2006. All were delivered and stored at Rutherford Public Works yard in December 2006, and entered service in January/February 2007.
This order differed from the previous in it had the Flower City logo on the seats (instead of the City of Brampton) and no drivers draft doors, as well as larger fleet numbers on the sides. The latter part of this order came with ZF transmissions instead of the usual Voiths (but this did not result in a change to ZF on subsequent orders). This was also the first order to come with Alcoa aluminum wheels, versus previous orders delivered with white painted steel wheels.
All buses have been retrofitted with bike racks as of April 2009.
Upon entering service in early 2007, this resulted in the retirement of the final four GM New Look buses in Brampton Transit's fleet (8279, 8289 & 8690-91).
