Brampton Transit 8901-8909

Brampton Transit 8901-8909 were Orion I (01.508) buses built in 1989 by Orion Bus Industries and delivered in August and September 1989. This was the first order equipped with electronic destination signs, but the side displays are rollsigns. This series is not equipped with A/C, but has tilt-in top windows.

The last of the units were based out of Sandalwood Garage, and retired in Fall of 2009. None received bike racks.

An interesting note is the as-delivered license plates nearly corresponded with the fleet numbers of this series.
