BredaMenarinbus is based in Bolgna.

Breda had been part of Inbus and when that consortium was disolved in 1987, the bus interest was seperated as Bredabus and made a division of Breda Costruzioni Ferroviarie controlled bf Efim. Breda Costruzioni Ferroviarie had been a major locommotive builder in Italy.

In 1989 Breda Costruzioni Ferroviarie acquired Menarini, a Bologna bus builder founded in 1919, and merged the two bus operations as BredaMenarinibus
