History
- Started in February 1929 as a subsidiary of the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad.
- Joined National Trailways Bus System as a founding member in 1936 as Burlington Trailways.
- Bought Black Hills Transportation Company and Platte Valley-Cheyenne Short Line in 1939.
- Bought Grand Island-Broken Bow Stages, Loup Valley Stages and Scottsbluff-Sterling Motor Lines in 1940.
- Bought Alliance-Chadron Bus Line in 1941.
- Bought Fort Collins-Laramie-Walden Stage Line in 1942.
- Bought M. C. Foster Lines in 1943.
- Bought Muscatine Davenport & Clinton Bus Company in 1944.
- Bought by American Buslines in 1946.
- Sold to Continental Trailways in 1953.
- The Burlington Trailways name was revived in 1981 by Ron and Lori Moore.
