Cardinal Coach Lines 1937-1948 and 2177-2183 were 1989 model Thomas International 3800 buses. They featured a 4-way warning light system and a driver-side rear emergency exit door.

The units were originally delivered to Cardinal Transportation (CA) in Los Angeles, California. In 2000, the first batch of units (1937-1948) were transferred north to the Calgary branch. The second batch of units (2177-2183) would later follow their way north in the Summer of 2001. All units were utilized extensively on regular school routes. It is believed that all units were retired over the course of Summer 2010.
