Cardinal Coach Lines 2753 and 2826 were 1997-99 model Blue Bird International 3800 buses. They were purchased second-hand from an unknown transportation company in Minnesota, United States and arrived in Calgary in 2006. Both units featured tinted windows, a rounded (corner-free) windshield, dual roof hatches, and an extra exterior rubrail (5 compared to the 4 typically seen on school buses in Canada). The units also featured an interchangeable "flip" destination signed controlled manually from the outside.
