Cardinal Coach Lines 3037-3045
Cardinal Coach Lines 3037-3045 were 2000 model Blue Bird Q-Bus buses.
These units were originally delivered to First Transit in 2000, operating for Metropolitan Transportation Services in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2007, 10 units were sold to Cardinal Coach Lines. Throughout 2007, 2008 and 2009, 3037, 3039-3040, 3042 and 3045 would slowly enter service on Cardinal's Airdrie Commuter service until the launch of Airdrie Transit's Inner-city Express (ICE) service in 2010. Former MTS units 4277, 4279, 4283, 4285 and 4286 were among the units purchased, and would not enter service. Many of these units were stored at First Student Canada's yard in Taber, AB until at least 2012.
Features of these units include a bike rack, wheelchair lift and a Carrier roof-top air conditioner.
