Ride CK, previously known as Chatham-Kent Transit, serves the city of Chatham and Kent county in the province of Ontario. Operations are contracted to Intouch Connection, a division of Blenheim Bus Lines.

History

Transit service in Chatham was provided by Chatham Coach Lines beginning on July 15, 1948. In June 1977, the service adopted the name Chatham Transit. Chatham Coach Lines continued as the operator until 2002, when the contract to operate the system was awarded to Aboutown Transportation.

Chatham-Kent Council terminated the contract with Aboutown, who operated conventional and paratransit service, at the end of November 2013 after the company fell into financial and legal trouble. Council awarded a temporary seven month contract to Voyageur Transportation commencing December 1, 2013. New seven year contracts were awarded commencing July 1, 2014: conventional routes was awarded to Intouch Connection, Inter-urban routes and Wallaceburg paratransit service was awarded to Citilinx Transportation, and Chatham paratransit service was awarded to Voyago.

Beginning on July 1, 2021, the system received all new buses through a federal ICIP grant, with the system being rebranded Ride CK; a new operations contract was also awarded to Intouch Connection to operate all services.
