Chittenden County Transportation Authority or CCTA was the public transit operator in Burlington in Chittenden County, Vermont. CCTA served the communities of Burlington, Essex, South Burlington, Winooski, Shelburne, Williston and Milton. They also serviced parts of Colchester and express commuter service between Burlington and Montpelier, Middlebury, and St. Albans. Chittenden County Transportation Authority merged with Green Mountain Transit Authority over the course of January 22, 2016 to October 2016, forming Green Mountain Transit[1].
