Cobourg Transit is a small transit system that serves the Town of Cobourg, Ontario. Operations are contracted to Century Transportation.
Service
Beginning in April 2021, Cobourg switched to a fully on-demand bus service. Rides may be booked between two bus stops by using the Cobourg Rides app, on the website, or by calling.
In addition, Port Hope Transit operates an Express Cobourg Shuttle bus between Port Hope City Hall, Northumberland Hills Hospital, Walmart and the Northumberland Mall before returning to Port Hope. Service operates every 30 minutes, with transfers to Cobourg Transit for $1.00.
Former Routes
- Route 1 - Northumberland Mall-Downtown-Lucas Point
- Route 2 - Northumberland Mall-Downtown-Densmore Rd.
Fixed-route service operated hourly, Monday to Friday from 6:15 am to 7:45 pm, Saturday from 8:15 am to 6:45 pm and Sunday from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm.
