The Alexandria Transit Company or as its known by its short moniker, DASH (which unofficially stands for "Driving Alexandria Safely Home"), is the transit system in the city of Alexandria, Virginia. DASH, which began in 1984, provides services to 4.5 million plus riders monthly through a network of routes that are highly focused on equal access to convenient and sustainable transportation throughout the City of Alexandria.

  • These are scheduled to replace five (5) GILLIG Hybrid Trolley buses and eight (8) GILLIG Hybrid Low Floor buses.

  • 68 was painted light blue and was used as a driver training and community bus. Children were able to hand-paint the bus once a year. It was occasionally used on the WMATA Blue Line Shuttle on an as-needed basis.
