Route 140X is a limited-stop "Rapid" route, making stops only at designated stops south of 148 Avenue. Service is southbound only during the AM peak, and northbound only during the PM peak.
From 127 Street and 167 Avenue, buses operate west on 167 Avenue, south on 138 Street, west on 165 Avenue, south on 139 Street, east on 160 Avenue, north on 132 Street, east on 162 Avenue, south on 129 Street, west on 155 Avenue, south on 137 Street, east on 153 Avenue, south on 134 Street, east on 150 Avenue, south on 129 Street, east on 148 Avenue to 127 Street. Buses then operate express south on 127 Street, east on 118 Avenue, and southeast on Kingsway to Kingsway/RAH Transit Centre. Buses in the opposite direction follow the reverse routing.
