Foothill Transit F300-F305, F600-F629, F700-F738

Foothill Transit F300-F305, F600-F629, F700-F738 were 1989 Gillig Phantom 40' (40/96TB/6V92T) buses. Some units were temporarily leased to WHEELS before being delivered to Foothill Transit. They operated in the Foothill Transit livery. They were delivered with dual headlights (quads), later changed to single headlights (duals) due to CHP regulations regarding bike racks blocking the view of the headlights. They were later retrofitted with exhaust catalysts.

  • Many units were bought by Transit Sales International.
    • 2 unknown units renumbered M190-M191 were spotted for sale in Pennsylvania circa 2010.[4] "M190" became a party bus in Bonita Springs, FL.[5][6]
    • 1 unit was sold to "Ruby's Coach" in Spokane, WA. It sat since about 2006 and was available for purchase in October 2016.[7] However, it was eventually scrapped.
