GO Transit 2000-2007

GO Transit 2000-2007 were OBI 05.501 buses built in July 2000. The buses were configured for commuter service with one door, majority 2+2 seating for 45 individuals, and over head parcel racks.

The seats over the front wheels and wheelchair areas face the aisle. The remaining seats face forward.All seats have access to reading lights, however only the forward facing seats have the parcel racks overhead. The buses feature the interior colour scheme which was introduced on the 1999 Prevost coaches as well as the "skyline" livery. The livery originally had a green stripe above the windows which was removed during refurbishment.

Three of the buses in this series, 2000-2002, were retired alongside 1600-1609 during the board period starting April 2009. After retirement, they were stored at Newmarket GO Garage with the retired Prevosts until disbursement around July 2009. The remaining buses in this series were retired in November 2009 at Newmarket garage.
